Down & Feather Beddings
Regular cleaning of down and feather bedding is typically not necessary (once every 3 years would be adequate) if it is covered, fluffed and aired at regular intervals. Please send to a professional laundry if cleaning is required, to ensure appropriate cleaning and drying processes. Occasional sunning is highly recommended. Also, to re-loft and replenish air inside the pillows, please fluff them daily.
It is normal for the loft of natural down and feather bedding materials to diminish over a period of time. Regularly wash duvet covers and pillowcases to remove dirt, dust and absorbed body oils.
For storage, keep beddings in breathable bags in cool and dry environment. Store pillows and duvets in a linen closet or in a breathable bag in a cool, dry environment. Do store in plastic bags, which may trap moisture leading to mildew.
Bedlinens
Bedlinens are recommended to be machine-washed with warm water, and strictly washed with other white fabric if necessary. Softener and bleach are not needed. Tumble dry without overloading, to reduce wrinkling. Remove promptly from dryer and fold away when tumble dry ends. If preferred, iron at warm setting for the bedlinens.
Yukatas
Yukatas are recommended to be washed in cold water, along with other white fabric. Choose delicate cycle setting. Tumble dry in low heat setting.
Towels & Mats
Towels are recommended to be machine washed with warm water, strictly with other white fabric. Avoid using fabric softener as it reduces absorbency. Tumble dry on low heat without overloading. Remove promptly from dryer while warm, fold and stow away.
